# Arizona Sunset, White Boots

This is a fine art nude in a landscape. A female figure stands on a dirt road against an Arizona sunset. The statuesque woman is nude except for white lace-up high heel boots. A highway and headlights can be faintly recognized in the background.

The woman’s muscular nude body is in a classical pose, recalling the long tradition of depicting feminine beauty in nature. One hand cradles her neck and the other rests above her hip.  Her legs are slightly crossed, yet this is clearly not an attempt at modesty. Around her neck, a silver cross hangs from a black cord.

She is comfortable both in her surrounding and nudity. Her distinct [athleticism](https://www.aaronknightgallery.com/shop/limited-edition-art/oversized-nude-photograph-swift-transition/) and calm demeanor paint her as presiding over this scene, rather than merely inhabiting it. Her gaze is directed to one side, unconcerned with being observed.

Mesas, which typify the Arizona horizon, are silhouetted against the setting sun. Jagged shapes of sedimentary rock jut upward in various proportions.

The sky occupies almost half of the design, blending from blue to orange. A pale gray swath runs horizontally through the clear evening. Scant clouds hover just over the horizon at the left. A yellow patch at the far right shows the setting sun is just out of view.

The foreground of this fine art nude landscape is a dirt road, strewn with small rocks. Her long hair appears caught in a mild [breeze](https://www.aaronknightgallery.com/shop/limited-edition-art/limited-edition-art-nude-photograph-hopebreeze/), another symbol of the relationship between female beauty and the landscape. Ruts and tire tracks are evidence that it has been recently traveled. Tiny shrubs and red dirt line either side of the road.
