# Three Wishes

Viewed from an [overhead vantage,](https://www.aaronknightgallery.com/shop/limited-edition-art/buy-fine-art-photography-double-lime/) this art photograph depicts a nude woman lying on her back, a shiny silver necklace of star-shaped charms circling her neck. She bends one leg over the other, her ankle crossing her opposite thigh, surrounded by a chaotic array of patterns and objects.

### Composition

The backdrop centers on a vinyl floor with a simulated [retro tile pattern](https://www.aaronknightgallery.com/spotlight/retro-feel/) of brown and orange. Running through the center of the image is a vertical red stripe, a carpet runner. Red velvet ropes and stanchions are scattered around the red carpet, evoking the lingering atmosphere of an out-of-control party.

Reinforcing the feeling of chaos is the off-center nature of the composition. The red runner, although aligned with the vertical edges of the frame, is shifted to the right. The margin of floor at the right of the photograph is twice that of the left margin. The stanchions are pushed to one side, along with the velvet ropes.

### Theme

In one hand, she holds a green bottle of spirits. The positioning of the green glass makes the image somewhat more modest, yet the translucent nature of the glass means she is not entirely obscured. Her other arm reaches off the carpet; it is the only part of her body that extends beyond the red swath.

The woman appears poised to loft the green container into the air, joining a steel cocktail shaker that is already airborne and traveling up toward the viewer. Three additional glass bottles and martini glass rest on the floor beside her.

This fine art photograph balances chaotic motion with vulnerability. It captures a suspended moment of wild abandon—a striking, high-energy centerpiece for any collection.
