Collect hand printed photographs from this selection of artworks by Aaron Knight. These are hand-produced artworks, printed in a darkroom. The images began with a manually operated film camera (Hasselblad 500CM). No digital technology or computers were involved in their creation. Using black and white film, the artist created each composition in collaboration with his subjects.

After shooting black and white film, the images are developed by hand in a small tank processor using chemical baths. Extreme attention to detail ensures predictable results from film development.

These black-and-white film negatives are enlarged onto double-weight glossy fiber base gelatin silver photographic paper. Each print was hand processed in wet chemicals. The artist follows a precise process, including a selenium toning bath and thorough washing, to ensure maximum beauty and longevity.
