Fine art photography nude

In this fine art photography nude, a figure stands amidst various kinds of industrial machinery. A rusty filing cabinet, with all of it’s drawers ajar, sits to the right. A saw, with several old blades stacked on top of it, towers on the left. The feminine figure leans against a gritty metal work table. She strikes a classic pin-up pose. There are metal tool bits, a crumpled paper bag, and other industrial detritus strewn on the floor at her feet. Her warm, exposed skin appears vulnerable surrounded by the hard metal, rust, and grime of an industrial workroom.

Leaning backward onto the table, the figure arches her body. One arm grips the table edge behind her while the other is held above her. She runs her fingers through her long, brown hair which curls and cascades down her shoulder. The slight twist to her body rotates her breasts forward and presents her nude form straight-on to the viewer. Her gaze, meanwhile, stares fixedly ahead. Light falls on her body from the right side of the image, illuminating her front and emphasizing the curves of her form. On a second glance, one notices that her legs and feet are smeared with grease, as though she was on her knees on the dirty workshop floor.

Aaron Knight likes to include numbers (but not words) in his photographs. He sometimes hides numbers beginning with a 1 or a 2 (ten through twenty-nine) in his images. The title of this image includes the letters O, P, and Q, which correspond to numbers that appear, in sequence, in two places in this photograph. The three numbers are handwritten on the circular saw blade to the left of the nude figure. They also appear embossed, in sequential order, on a plaque affixed to the saw’s metal stand, at the bottom left of the image.
