Time-lapse photography

This spotlight of time-lapse nude photography, contains a variety of techniques sharing the time lapse aspect. They include multiple exposure images taken seconds or minutes apart and then digitally combined to tell a story of movement or evolution over a short period of time, compressed into a single image.

They include light-writing compositions, in which a long-exposure captures both a crisp strobe (flash) illuminated image with the trailing motion of the subsequent few seconds. These light writing compositions mix clear detail with ambiguous hints of other goings on.

Many of the light-writing compositions are also multiple exposure images, compounding the portrayal of time and the ambiguity of the details. For some, these can be delightful visual playgrounds where answers are never concrete. For others they can be maddeningly noncommittal in their relay of information.
